As per TRAI TCCCPR 2018 regulation, each company (who wish to send sms) need to complete DLT registration as a PE (Principal Entity). Each PE (Company), will get a unique registration number (PE ID) that will be common across all telecom operators - JIO, Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone Idea, MTNL, Tata, QTL and VMIPL. Each entity will be provided a unique login to conduct DLT related activities such as obtaining a unique Sender id (Header / Sender Name), registering sms templates (Content / message), uploading subscriber (Consent / Opt in) list etc.

Registration on various telecom DLT system will require KYC documents such as Company Pan Card, GST certificate (3 Page), Certificate of incorporation, Authority Letter, MOA /Partnership deed etc – whichever applicable to be submitted by the company on the telecom DLT site.
